Summary God loves us in practical ways. Loving us is not just something God did, it is something alive that works in our emotions. The love of God is an experience that we can have; it's an emotion. If we feel loved and feel the emotion and passion that drives us towards God and the things of God, we are under the power of the nature of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, the power of compassion. This is the power that moves us from the depths of our beings when we see somebody in pain. This is how every Christian is supposed to walk.
