Since the day I was saved in 1989 I have shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. I received a boundless love for the Word of God and couldn't stop reading the Bible. By Grace I believed what was written in the Word of God. I would simply take what I read in the Word and go and do it. A passion for healing was born in me when I read Matt 10, where Jesus told His disciples to heal and deliver people from bondage. "If Jesus said it, I can do it, for I'm His disciple too," flowed from my mouth all the time. When I read Mark 16 (about 2 weeks after I got saved), I received the infilling of the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues. It all came easily; it was just Grace and love from God. I was bold from the start and preached to the lost, to school friends, teachers and to anyone who would listen, as well as to those who didn't want to hear!

In 1992 I ended my studies at the University of Potchefstroom because I felt that they interfered with my preaching. I entered Bible School and was ordained as an Evangelist 3 years later. During Bible School we were involved in many outreaches, which was like gasoline on a fire to the heart of evangelism that burned in me. "Millions must still hear the Gospel - use me, Lord!" was and is my cry and my passion. I met and married my beautiful wife Helena while in Bible School, where she was a student as well. I had to work part time in order to survive, which was frustrating. I began a small business and preached the profits away, while dreaming constantly of preaching to thousands worldwide, in tents and open air crusades.

There were many destructive, Law-based teachings that began to drain me of vision and passion. We were poor, and were taught that we had to obey a million "charismatic church rules" before we could be blessed. I was never good enough to meet them all and felt I would never achieve my vision.

Eventually I reached a point where I was willing to let go of my calling. At this point I met Ed Elliot, an evangelist who shared the love of God with me from the perspective of how much God loves me and not how I should love Him. The revelation of Grace set me free for life! I traveled to Mozambique with Ed a couple of times, preached from his stage and saw the power of God in action. Then I started my own crusades and have led thousands of people to the Lord in many countries.

Dynamic Love Ministries was registered in 2001 and grew from strength to strength. The vision Helena and I have is to preach the Good News, the news of Grace, to as many as possible and see people established in this message.

Helena is a godly woman who loves the Lord with all her heart and expresses it through a ministry of worship dance. She has a deep revelation of Grace and has supported me all the way. I can truly say that we are a team and share one vision. We have three children, Abri, Hendri and Bertus, who enjoy the mission field as much as we do.

Our vision is for people to know and experience the unconditional Love, Mercy and Grace of God; our dream is to spread the Word of Grace in all the years to come.
