The Gospel is not about how much we must love God, or how much we must love our neighbor, but about How much God loves us. God's love is unconditional, never ending and limitless and we can only understand this by understanding what happened to us with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We can only love God and other people to the measure that we understand God's love for us.
